It had been a long day for this wolf. He had attempted to hunt which had only resulted in failure due to his lack of energy and food. He was at a loss of what to do and it irritated him to the highest degree. His head hung low and he walked along, weaving his way between the trees not even realizing where he was. He was walking onwards without a care int he world hoping he may come across a smaller prey. Of course he would never result to scavaging, he was too proud to do anything like that. A snort came from his nose at the thought and he growled to himself. He had a magnificent black coat and some dulled blue eyes which appeared to be clouded with evil. His lips curled back as he spotted a rabbit and he lowered himself a little. If he was on someone else's land he had no idea about it. He took very silent movement toward the rabbit, readying himself for the attack. His muscles rippled under his skin and fur as they tensed to force himself to remain calm. He waited a few more minutes until lunging at it, grabbing at its neck with his exposed teeth. He would have it, he needed it; something he would never admit of course.

The dark fea not to far away watched the brute with curious eyes, she had been following him ever since he appeared in her land. Although this was different for her, she liked what she saw in this muscular male. Sarabi hid in the trees and watched him for awhile, every now and then she would get up and quietly move into a different spot to get a better view of black brute. Thoughts went through her mind wondering where this male came from, but for Sarabi the only way to really find out was to meet him. Before she did she watched him hunt the rabbit not to far away, she lowered herself to the ground and stared with interest. As he lunged for the kill she could hear the rabbits neck break form the males bite. Sarabi gave a smile to this then slowly and quietly moved out of her hidding and sat up on a rock watching him in clear sight. She didnt say a single word but sat there waiting for the handsome male to notice her in the darkness.

The male put his paw on the rabbits chest before tearing up at the meat on the neck. It was just the warm blood that soaked in his mouth, or the tasty meat against his tongue but something in his eyes seemed to flicker. They flickered at the sight of the dead animal he had killed. It was completely in his power that this living animal had been cut short of its life. This feeling grew stronger, it was something he loved the most. To kill something gave him such pride and sense of strength he never wanted to stop. His ears flickered and he was cut short of his thoughts. His head swirled and the hair on his back rose as he caught sight of the other wolf. This was his food, and he would guard it.

The fea stayed on the rock and stared down to him, more thoughts poured into her mind. She shook her head and then went back to the male near her. Sarabi spoke her first words in her normal tone "No need to worry....Iam Sarabi...owner of this land you are apparently in and alpha female of this pack....you are?" she said staring into the males eyes and flicking her tail around slowly. Her ears twitched around in all directions listening to see of there were anything in the distance, but as usual it was quiet, dark and damp all around. Sarabi turned back to the brute and waited for his response if he would give her one.

His ears flickered when her voice poured into his ear canals. He watched her back before glancing at his food. How much he longed to eat but of course that would be rude. He remained quiet for a short time before allowing his eyes to fix back on the femme. "Kokuyo." He stated flatly. A simple answer to a simple question. His name. One think he knew about himself firmly wa shis name and where he had come from. He kept his head high, lowering his hind to the ground, to sit. This femme was defiantly observant if she could catch his entrance into a land so large. Who knows how big her land actually extended to but in his eyes any wolfs land would have to be large enough to sustain a pack, thus she was talented to spot the entrance of a stray from wherever she may have been. A stray. He scoffed at the sound of that word as he thought it. Stray was too needy. He wasn't a stray, no no. He was a leader, even if he had no pack he was the leader to his own heart if that may be the only thing he led.

Sarabi jumped off of the rock where she had been sitting, when she landed there was hardly a sound made. Only dust from the dirt came up in the air and around her paws. She walked away from the rock and towards the Kokuyo, she didnt look at him this time and then passed where he stood. She moved to the opposite side of him and then jumped up on a hanging dead branch from a rotting tree and laid down on it. As she passed him only a few soft words went off of her tounge "eat your kill." and then she was quiet again. For some reason she wasnt being herself today with this male, normally she would be growling and snarling non stop. Then for this male she was quiet and not a singe rumble in her throat came out, was this the male she had been waiting for? a male that has more power? Sarabi looked at him and then away, maybe this was the one. He had power and strength already just by seeing the way he looks. She shrugged to the thought and then laid her head on her paws facing away from Kokuyo.

"Your mind is troubled." He responded before lowering his head and starting to tear at his kill. He had his intentions of taking all the meat to satisfy his stomach. He needed the nutrients in order for his muscles to stay large and strong. He also needed the energy to function and hunt larger things. Even thought the food was on his mind and he ate, one of his ears was thingyed to the side, facing the femme, listening for her response. He had found himself in quite an interesting predicament. Kokuyo hardly even took notice of another wolf. He fought and killed and survived. These seemed to be the only things that registered to him as activities. But this femme seemed to be...different from the others. She wasn't weak and he had noticed that already. She knew how to talk and had manners similar to his. Now the ultimate question he would be seeking in this wolf; was she like him? His passion was to kill and he was built for exactly that. But could she share the same stone heart he appeared to have?

Sarabi stayed silent on the branch and her tail hung downward not moving, the only slight of it moving was the black air on it from the wind hitting it. She slowly turned her head around to him and sighed "Some may say it does.....but for me it is the usual....the same thoughts..the same feelings." she said it softly once more and with a little of a breathy tone mixed in. Another sigh came from her and her back leg started to cramp up from laying on it for a long time. This was the leg she had hurt when she was in a small fight with a roving male that annoyed her to much. Sarabi wouldnt say it was much of a fight anyway, the male was an easy target and it didnt even last very long. Although he was dead already and felt much better about it, there were more wolves that annoyed her a lot and she couldnt ever get close enough to kill them because their alphas would appear somewhere and protect them from her. Back from her past thoughts she jumped down from the tree and stretched out her leg that hasnt healed yet, then quickly laid back down on the dusty dirt ground.

By the time she had come down from the branch he had finished his meal. The bones were all cracked and chewed with some hope there would be a substantial amount of marrow, but of course there wasn't. He had licked the thing clean of meat and now his eyes were watching the femme move. He noticed her leg but said nothing about it. He kept watching her trying to decide where she may of gotten it. He was being observant, looking for markings on it without making it obvious. His stature was rather large. His build made like a wall. He let his tongue lap around his lips to take up any blood that may have gotten on his fur. She was calm towards him, but for some reason he had a feeling she wasn't like this to everyone. "These are your lands?" He lifted his gaze looking around him more carefully. "Says a lot about you does it?" His tone was completely serious with no hints of sarcasm at all. If it did, she was like him then, how unusual that would be but how marvelous at the same time.

As a small breeze came through again she lifted her head and took the chance to smell around for other invaders, she turned to him and thought over the word invader. No he wasnt a invader, she was happy that he came into her lands. An invader would be another type of wolf that she didnt have an interest in. Sarabi shook her head to the thought and gave a small smile to it sounded kinda funny to her. As no scents appeared to be hidden in the secrets of the wind, she turned back to the male and watched him. She knew he had saw her injury and he probably thought that she hadnt caught him looking at it. She would wait until he asked about it before she would tell him anything about it anyway. Sarabi didnt know if he even cared to know about it so she didnt want to waste her breath on telling the story. She slowly rose back up into a sitting position and flicked her ears around once again, when they stopped moving they laid flat on both sides of her head. Not to long after though they moved back around once he started to talk again, she turned her head to where it met his and her eyes were locked with his as well. She nodded in slow movements and spoke "Yes...I guess it does.."she started and then looked around and stood up and continued "It doesnt take you long to figure out things huh?" she gave a small chuckle and turned back to him.

He watched her silently for a while before rising to his paws as well. He stood tall and took in sight of her body again. He caught on quick. It was nice she would spare his pride and not blurt out about knowing he had been looking. He moved slowly towards her and came to a stop beside her leg. He put his nose close before taking in a small scent. "So tell me. Who did this?" He asked curiously. The land represented her. How perfect was this meeting then. One like him. He rose his eyes to hers waiting for a name a description anything to send him on a kill. If she was like him then others had to be like him as well. He may have been strong and cunning but he also knew well about strength in numbers. He wasn't dumb enough to take the world on alone. If there were others like him he wanted to find them, and together they could expand. At this moment and time though, his first step was to protect the one like him.

Sarabi watched him form the corner of her eyes as he came closer to her, she didnt mind him doing this. Though if he did try to take advantage of her, her blood stained fangs would quickly be around his neck and he would either be no more or she would spare him. She followed his movements down to her leg and she lifted it a bit off of the ground, then slowly placed it back down. She looked at him back in the eyes and started to speak of her injury
"Well..it was a male named Lakota...he was a rover that came into my land....when I saw him..I quickly went to make him leave" she gave a smile as she remembered everything and looked away into the distance then began again "Lets just say he annoyed me to much.... we got into a small fight.....he got a good bite on me but I ended his life with missery." she stopped and then turned back to him to see what his actions would be.

The male had sat once again to listen to her talk. What a disappointment! The wolf was dead, and it certainly showed on his face. He watched her for another moment at some other revelations after the disappointment had passed. "That is good then. That you killed him." He rose back onto all fours, feeling the energy flow back through his veins and muscles. "Have you done it often?" He started to walk in circles around her, but in a relaxed way as if just to keep his muscles warm. "You enjoy it too don't you?" The fact this femme had killed the wolf expressed two things to him. She had the strength and ability to do so but also she had the same blood lust he did, but perhaps hers was more under control, something he could use to learn from her.

She sat down once more and watched him, she leaned down and lifted her back leg an scratched her neck and then slowly placed it back to the ground. She gave a small yawn and and revealed her reddish fangs but then they quickly disappeared when she got done yawning. She turned her head as he began to circle her and she stood up watching him. Her ears twitched to the thought of killing another wolf, her head tilted to the side a bit and then looked back to him "No...I havent yet lately....but yes I do sometimes enjoy it" she looked away from him and then started to walk off straight into the small meadow. As she walked she turned to him and spoke with a small smile "Do you?" this was the first smile she had ever shown in a long time and ever since he has been her it hadnt hardly left her face.

Kokuyo had stopped his walking and watched her as she started off. At her beginning of another question he rose and trotted after her until he caught up. "I do. I find myself wanting it sometimes more then anything else." He walked beside her his stalk very preditary even if he was hunting nothing, it was just a way about him. His eyes were always piercing, looking, searching. He continued at her pace looking around where they may of been headed. "No shame" He cackled a little. "I do enjoy it and long for it."
